525 years old Durga Bari temple become the first example where animal sacrifice is fully banned now by Tripura High Court. I make an appeal to all Hindu temple to stop this cruel practice by not giving an excuse to maintain the dignity of age old religious practices. Animal sacrifice is not required to worship any deities. Please, take an action now to stop all kinds of sacrifice of birds and animals in premises built for auspicious activities.

The ritual of blood sacrifice was common to all ancient cultures and religions since 4000 BCE. Sadly, it has now reached to the smartphone age where a large proportion of Hindus / Muslims / Jews consider it a dignity of their religious faith. That incite them to be primitive and celebrating this primitiveness in their festivals by sacrificing innocent animals and sharing it across social media.
